Sychar Centre is a knowledge and advocacy organisation that appreciates the transformative power of Biblical ethics; promotes inter-religious, inter-racial and inter-ethnic tolerance; and values hard-work and self-sacrifice. It is registered under the Laws of Kenya, Certificate of Registration Number C 136997 as a company limited by guarantee operating on non-profit basis.
Sychar’s vision is a society transformed by interfacing careful research with Biblical principles. Its mission is to encourage careful reflection, thought, analysis, review, and consultation and consensus on solutions to foundational problems with the intention of promoting desirable social reform.
Sychar’s strategic goals are to
• Promote analysis of foundational problems facing Kenya
• Create a pool of Kenyans capable of scrutinising Kenya’s myriad social infrastructure problems
• Positively influence public life and policy in Kenya and
